In honor of Kevin's arrival Tuesday night, I roasted a chicken and new potatoes (loosely based on Barefoot Contessa's recipe). I've cooked this lots of times and it always turns out great (one chicken; 425 degrees for 1.5 hours). But I actually "trussed" the chicken this time. I bought the twine at Williams and Sonoma - which made me feel like a real pro. I served the chicken and new potatoes with roasted Brussel sprouts. I bought rolls at Petty's but King found the bag (his annoying talent) and ate the entire bag. (He owes me $4.50.) Welcome home Kevin... xoxoxox
