Baker's Birthday
Baker's party (loosely based on Bob the Builder) was a big success! No time to elaborate...packing for Colorado. Can't wait to introduce Baker to lots and lots of SNOW! Party pics follow...
Baby Max
Introducing Maxwell Joseph Lukas.
Max is beautiful and perfect and a wonderful addition to our family. Baker was not very interested in Max. When I was holding him Baker said, "Give that baby back. He has a mommy." Speaking of, his mommy and daddy are doing great. Completely in love with Max and adjusting to their life as new parents.
Birthday Party in Paris
We celebrated Baker's birthday in Paris a little early this year. We also went to meet Max but he gets his own post...so more on that in a minute. My mother (Nonnie) made these adorable cupcakes in the shape of cars and trucks. Baker requested NO ICING. He loved the cakes and tasted several before he officially blew out the candles.
Below: Baker opening his new Thomas the Train set and several new engines. He is obsessed with Thomas! Thank you Nonnie and Ps. And thank you Aunt Shona for all of Baker's fun bday presents...
Bounce U
Baker went to his friend Will's birthday party at Bounce U. I think I have recruited the girl in the photo below as our newest babysitter...she gets her driver's license on May 04. I figure if she can tolerate a room full of sweaty kids jumping and bouncing she can certainly handle Baker at our house. Here's hoping!

New Year's Part Two
Let the record show that Kylee was wrongly accused of deleting photos from the memory card! Kylee and Abbie are featured below. Notice their enthusiastic smiles at the Leopard's Den - a hole-in-the-wall diner in Alpena, AR.

New Year's Eve at Big Cedar
We spent New Year's at Big Cedar with the Toothaker family. I took pics of all the kids, including Kylee and her friend Abbie. I have to download my photos again because Kylee and Abbie are not on my memory card?! Internet and witnesses: If Kylee deleted her photos, please let the record show that she is in BIG TROUBLE!
We had a great time...Juju told colorful stories about her time on the church bus...the little kids played well together and the big kids were a huge help. David and Kevin grilled lots of meat. That was their primary contribution. Oh...how I love to kid! Or not. Happy 2009! Here's to enjoying good health and good friends!
Baker's 3rd Haircut
Kevin took Baker for his third official haircut. I don't know how I feel about paying $38 for his haircut, but whatever. It's over and it's cute and I didn't have to do it!
