This is the Face of Pre-K
It has been a monumental (and memorable and happy) day at our house today. Baker is now officially in pre-K! Riding to school this morning, he was very excited and very chatty. He said, "I can't wait to get to school and look at that science shelf!" And sure enough, we walked into his classroom and he made a beeline to the science shelf and never looked back. Literally. No goodbye. No hug. No nothing. Magnifying glass in hand, he inspected the snakeskin, the bugs, the leaves. And he was thrilled.
And six hours later, after much needed time ALONE, I might be a little thrilled too...

I can't believe how big he is! I love that he wanted to go right to the science shelf. Time is going by so quickly!
