Dirt is Good

I'm not kidding when I tell everyone that Baker really likes to dig in the dirt. It's a big obsession at the moment. I have to scrub his nails at night - with a toothbrush.

Easter Sunday Photo Opp

Baker dyed Easter eggs on Saturday. He was so proud of his work. Nevermind that six of the seven eggs were cracked by the time the project was complete. Kylee has to join us next year because she is an egg dying genius - and that's a compliment I don't throw around.

Happy 95th Birthday Papa!

We celebrated Papa's 95th birthday in Mt. View this weekend. Baker loved helping Papa with the birthday candles. I'm too tired to post...more later...my bed is calling.

Hand Chimes

I'm sure I had a very clever intro to the hand chimes extravaganza - but it is LOST. Kylee was great. Kevin was proud. Blah, blah, blah... Kylee has an admirer to the left...

Winter Wardrobe

I took these photos before we left for church on Sunday. It will likely be the last time that Baker gets to wear his precious "Christmas" outfit. I love how he looks in the tweed pants and sweater. Don't get me started on the hat. I am going to take more care preserving this outfit than I did packing away my Bagdley Mishka wedding dress. (Visualize a plastic bag hanging over a dress in my closet...)

Sweet 13

We celebrated Kylee's 13th birthday tonight with dinner, presents and of course, CAKE. Baker told Kylee "Happy Birthday" about 20 times then cried when his slice of cake was all gone. Speaking of cake...it was adorable and delicious! I ordered it from Freckles. It was chocolate with chocolate filling...Kylee seemed to enjoy it. I don't have a picture of her opening her present? Not sure what happened there... She got a Coach makeup bag. So cute. Just like the birthday girl.

Birthday Wishes for Anita!

Baker wants to wish Anita a very Happy Birthday!

Never mind that he is not wearing pants and that he looks a little irritated to be posing with a rinky- dink birthday sign. I had to promise him that I would do better next year.

Anita, we love you! And we can't wait to see you in June. Baker will be studying for the LSAT but he assures me that he'll make time to play with you and sing songs and jump really high. I almost forgot, he also plans to wear something very cute, just for you.

Stitches

Baker has three stitches in his chin. He was riding his little red car on the sidewalk (going very fast according to both Kevin and Baker) when he hit a bump and went flying over the front of the car. Scary to think that this will likely be the first of many repair jobs to his perfect little body...

Fayetteville Friends

Following are some pictures from our recent trip to Fayetteville. Baker gave lots of hugs to his friends, Henley, Ellie and Georgianna. I don't know how, but I didn't get a picture of the Anderson girls?? Baker is so smitten with Anna.

We went to Fayetteville for Kevin's "goodbye" at Saatchi. He was roasted (lots of funny stories!!) and toasted. And I love him even more after hearing so many lovely things about him. I'll post pics from the party as soon as I have them. (We're waiting on a CD.)
